Austria makes covid vaccination mandatory in the first UE

Vienna: Austrian Parliament on Thursday approved Making Covid-19 vaccination for adults from next month, becoming the first European country to do it even though there was a wave of protests against the size.
Tens of thousands have shown to mandatory vaccination in the regular weekend demonstration since the action was announced in November in an effort to push the level of state vaccination.
All parties, except those far, support this size, with new laws passed with 137 supporting votes and 33 votes opposed it in parliament 183 seats.
“It’s adopted with the majority (need),” said Doris Bures, the second president of the National Council, said.
Until now, 72 percent of Austria has been fully vaccinated against Coronavirus – in line with the average throughout the European Union, only more than 70 percent, but some percentage points under regional neighbors such as Italy and France.
Under the new law, which applies on February 4, those who survive against Jab can face a fine of up to 3,600 euros ($ 4,100) from mid-March after the initial “phase”.
The government initially wanted to discuss everyone aged 14 years and over, but now the size only applies to adults, except pregnant women and those who have medical exceptions.
The debate charged by most of parliamentarians from all parties voted after law, with the leaders of the Social Democratic Opposition (SPOE) and Neos Liberal lend their support to the green coalition center.
The only significant opposition comes from the Far-Right Frequidom Party (FPOE), which has provided anti-vaccination voters.
FPOE leader Herbert Kickl revealed the law in the parliamentary debate charged on Thursday, claiming “paving the way for totalitarianism in Austria”.
He vowed that he himself will continue to reject vaccination that challenges new law.
“Vaccination is an opportunity for our community to achieve lasting and sustainable freedom, because the virus cannot limit us further,” said Chancellor Karl Nehammer to reporters earlier from the debate.
Green Health Minister Wolfgang Meeckstein filed an appeal for “all citizens to question myths around vaccination”, insisted that “all evidence showed that vaccines were available in Austria safely”.
The security zone, some Austrian residents remain convinced of excess vaccination, with several hundred opponents from legal collection for noisy protests near parliament on Thursday morning.
Teacher Kerstin said he felt the law ran against the constitution and ignored the fact that “we are intended to have certain basic rights”.
The others attended that too few studies have been carried out on the long-term effects of Jab and that they will refuse to pay a potential fine.
On Wednesday, the government announced it was preparing “security zones” around health facilities and vaccination centers so that the police could turn out anyone “causing difficulty”, including the demonstrators.
To provide incentives to those who may still be faltered, the government launched the lottery for all who were vaccinated with a gift voucher of 500 euros for use in shops, hotels, restaurants and sports venues.
Austria must date to see nearly 14,000 deaths related to Covid and 1.5 million cases in a population of around nine million.
The daily infection pond continues to break the record, reaching a new height of more than 27,600 on Wednesday.
Mandatory vaccination against Covid remains rare throughout the world, although Ecuador, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Indonesia and Micronesia have introduced the scheme.
