Caledonia: A guiter Wisconsin who killed a 22-year-old man who pumped the gas then shot himself in his head after exchanging shots with incognito sheriff investigators, said the authorities on Thursday.
John McCarthy, 32, from Hartland, killed himself after facing Sheriff researchers who disguised in other gas stations not far in the Caledonia on Tuesday, the state of the Ministry of Justice in revealing new details about the shooting.
Department of Racine County Sheriff named McCarthy as the previous shooter Wednesday.
Both McCarthy and investigators were shocked by shots before McCarthy shot himself, said the Ministry of Justice.
Investigator, whose name has not been released, is recovering at the Racin hospital from a wound that is not considered to threaten the life.
McCarthy lay waiting for an anthon griger of 22 years old, from Elkhorn, when he filled his vehicle at the pilot’s travel center at 7:30 a.m.
