MILTON.LAWRENCEMYSUSURU: The Division Authority of MySuru Division South-Westernosu Leads to promote water efficiency by establishing automatic coach washers on the division.
The authorities get rid of the manual system to wash the coach.
At present, keeping the coach clean up a lot of water and time, and it requires more labor.
With a factory automatically in place, trains can now clean the train exterior with less water in less time.
What’s more, the factory will use around 70% recycled water, so it saves water.
Plants that will operate in A period of month, revealed Rahul Agarwal.
The mechanical part of the project work is complete.
Part of civil works and fixed electricity will end in two-three weeks.
According to the authorities, the new factory will allow them to clean and dry around 20 coaches in less than 15 minutes.
This factory is located in Shunting’s neck from the Mysuru train page.
The total length of the plant is about 30 meters with four cleaning brushes each on both sides of the plant.
Roughly, 140 trainers can be cleaned per day.
It consists of two underwater tanks with a total storage of 50kl water capacity.
Cleaning and drying will require eight processes.
An official explained that the coach washing will be carried out with very little water consumption and more than 60% of the water used will be recycled by Air.mysu Division is the second in Karnataka to get a washing factory after Bengaluru.
There are three train divisions in Karnataka including Hubballi.
