Shamika Mone I.
S an organic farmer who moved field from academics to agriculture.
Sharing his experience with time awakening, he discussed into a cultivator, three sustainable agricultural pillars – and when he tasted the fruit of his first harvest:
In the mid-2000s, I studied for my master in college college in Pune where I found a biodiversity course on a very interesting agriculture.
In 2008, I joined an NGO in Vidarbha, Maharashtra Timur.
This is a suicide belt, suffering from acute farmers.
I see how farmers are trapped in the cycle of demons buying chemical fertilizers, pesticides and modified seeds – they will seep deeper in debt, with a little knowledge about how to manage their finances.
Then, I began working with NGOs in Wardha which spread information about sustainable agriculture.
I began researching cotton results in chemical-based systems versus cotton that grew organically – organic results actually proportional to chemicals.
Investing in this case will save the troubles of farmers.
