Lucknow: On the night Diwali, Ayodhya will turn on with 12 lakh Diyas, which at least 9 lakh will be turned on at Ram Ki Paitei.
This will set another record for the upper government for most Diyas that lights up in one place, a record set every year since 2017.
The government has organized a five-day celebration to mark the lights festival on Ayodhya.
International and Indian groups will participate in events for music and dance counts, seminars and exhibitions on the Ramayana theme.
According to a travel plan released on Saturday, the celebration will begin on November 1 with the Bazaar Shilp for being inaugurated by the Minister of Culture.
Visitors will attend to attend the conclave in Ramayana and musical performances by singer Anoop Jalota based on Ramayana.
A troupe from Janakpur, Nepal, which is believed to be the birthplace of Sita, will also appear.
A day later, the city will hold a seminar on ‘rediscovering ayodhya as the preferred tourist destination’.
As part of the program, international and national tour operators, travelers and bloggers will get ayodhya heritage tour after local officials will hold a presentation on city tourism potential.
The most important day is November 3, when deepotsav will be formally launched.
CM Yogi Adyityath, Senior Minister and Anandiben Governor Patel Anandiben will participate in the program, who will see actors dress like Rama, Sita and Laxman arrive at Ayodhya with a helicopter, to mark the return of Lord Rama to the city after 14 years from Vanvas.
G Kiswan Reddy, Minister of Union Tourism and Culture, will be the main guest at the event.
Shobha Yatra will be followed by the Tablo and Ramayana Carnival.
At night, there will be 3D halogens and laser performances on the Soryyu River, based on Ramayana.
November 4 and 5 will see exhibitions in Ramayana, followed by a laser show.
