Guwahati: Minister of the Ayush Union, Sarbanou Sonowal, on Saturday laying the foundation stones for the Panchakarma Block at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (Caris) at Borsajai and the center of Panchakarma’s superiority in the Ayurveda College state in Jalukbari here, which will be built at RS costs 20 Crore.
“The Center for Excellence for Panchakarma will be established in Ayurvedic College.
The Ayurvedic state pharmacy will also be upgraded under Ayurswastha Yojana from the Ayush Ministry.
The total cost of this initiative was pegged at Rs 10 Crore,” said a government release.
It adds that the Panchakarma block will be a G plus two buildings and pharmacology and chemical laboratories will become G plus three buildings.
The default fee for these two buildings will be Rs 10 Crore.
