Guwahati: Minister of the Ayush Union, Sarbanou Sonowal, on Saturday laying the foundation stones for the Panchakarma Block at the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (Caris) at Borsajai and the center of Panchakarma’s superiority in the Ayurveda College state in Jalukbari here, which will be built at RS costs 20 Crore.
“The center of the advantage for Panchakarma will be established in the country Ayurvedic College.
Ayurvedic State pharmacy will also be upgraded under Ayurswastha Yojana from the Ayush Ministry.
The total cost of this initiative was pegged at Rs 10 Crore,” said Government Liberation.
It adds that the Panchakarma block will be a G plus two buildings and pharmacology and chemical laboratories will become G plus three buildings.
The default fee for these two buildings will be Rs 10 Crore.
“Ayurveda is the driving force for physical empowerment and mental happiness People’s health and welfare, “Sonowal said.
“We must take this opportunity to build Ayurveda to serve humanity,” he added.
New buildings will help in providing world-class training courses for skills development, while pharmacological and chemical development will be helped in pre-clinical experimental procedures, standardization of drugs, chemical testing for each spice and toxicological reports related to animals.
The Minister of Health of Keshab Mahanta said it was a big problem for the Assam society that traditional Ayurveda got a boost.
“Even though this will not only improve our infrastructure, people will benefit from the rich solution that Ayurveda provides various diseases,” Manganta said, while attending the event where Guwahati MP, Queen Oja, and Mlaas Atul Bora and Ramendra Narayan Kalita too present.
