Ghaziabad: Notifications have been issued for three health officials given the responsibility of the publication of the Ayushman Bharat Gold Card – RS 5 Lakh insurance policy – to the beneficiaries of a weaker community.
Among the six District Division Meerut, Ghaziabad was at the bottom of the list in issuing cards.
According to the record, only 17% of the beneficiaries of the ambitious scheme of the center have a gold card in this district.
Notifications to the three officials were issued in the first first meeting by Chief Medical Officer, Dr.
Bhavtosh Shankhdhar, which was held on Thursday.
He also attracted the nodal officer of the scheme.
Ayushman’s scheme was launched about two and a half years ago.
Underneath, 7.4 lakh people from a 1.5 lakh family have been identified in this district.
The benefit of this scheme must be provided by publishing a gold card from all of these families.
But the Ministry of Health has so far been able to issue a card for only 1.2 lakh people.
In May, only 33 beneficiaries received a card.
CMO told TII, there were no officials who had specific details about the beneficiaries identified in the district.
“The notes are truly lost and officials only provide verbal explanations.
There are no reports prepared about beneficiaries not found in the district.
I have instructed staff to prepare detailed reports in a month.
The instructions have also been given to speed up the card making process Gold, “he added.
In the Meerut division, Ghaziabad had told the poorest, followed by Meerut, Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr.
