B ashok becomes a new cmd kseb

Thiruvananthapuram: Senior IAS Officer B Ashok has been appointed as Chair and Managing Director of Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd.
(KSEBL).
Ashok, officer IAS IAS 1998, successfully N S Pillai, who retired from the service on July 31.
Ashok is now a power secretary.
POS CMD, KSEBL, has been stated equally in status and responsibility as a government secretary for his appointment.
The government also appointed the main secretary (forest and wildlife) Rajesh Kumar Sinha as a power secretary.
He will hold an additional accusation of the secretary of power next to the existing charge.
Ashok previously served as Secretary of the Department of Strength and Water Resources, Vice Chancellor of Veterinary University and Kerala Animal Sciences.
He has earned a degree in water management from London University and in political science from Turin.
He is now the President of the IAS association, Kerala Chapter.
