Bengaluru: Zetwerk Manufacturing Business, which connects the company with manufacturing partners in India, has raised $ 150 million in the funding round with an assessment of $ 1.3 billion, to the 25th startup in India to achieve this year’s Unicorn status.
The latest funding is led by D1 capital partners.
New investors Avenir and IIFL also participated in the round, along with existing investors, GreenOaks Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sequoia and Accel.
Funding came above $ 120 million Zetwerk who was appointed in February and only three years after it received the seed funds.
“Zetwerk helps companies navigate a shift to digital manufacturing in the middle quickly change the global supply chain,” said Amrit Acharya, CEO of Zetwerk.
“During the past year, more than 100 Western companies have transferred their supply chains to India throughout industrial products and consumers.” The fund will be used to build new technology, fuel expansion and marketing.
The B2B market (business-to-business) for contract manufacturing has more than 600 customers and a chain of more than 4,000 suppliers in North America, Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East.
Customers throughout the industry include oil and gas, renewable energy, consumer goods, and electric vehicles.
