Karachi: Head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz King has said that Babar Azam captain and head coach while SAQLAIN MUSHTAQ has recommended a foreign coach for the national team.
Even Wicketkeeper’s dough Mohammad Rizwan supports bringing experts from abroad.
“During my discussion with Babar, Rizwan and then SAQLain they all said it would be better to integrate a foreign coach in the national team dressing room,” said the former test captain.
The King has brought Matthew Australia and Vernon Philander Africa as a batting and bowling consultant in the Pakistani dressing room for the T20 World Cup where the team is missing in the semi-finals until finally the Australian Champions after remaining unbeaten in the Super-12 stage.
The king said his view, which he conveyed to the trio, is that more local coaches must be with the team about the away tour so they have the opportunity to take care of themselves and get experience and exposure.
