Kalyan: The mother of a two-month-old baby and four others has been booked in Kalyan for allegedly selling it to Mumbai residents for Rs 2 Lakh.
The police said the baby’s mother, was quiet, approaching them with complaints of cheating after she received only Rs 40,000 from the promised 2 lakh Rs.
When the police investigated this problem, they found that the mother itself had sold children with the help of agents, including one of her friends from Nashik.
Besides Sheetal, the police had ordered his friend, Kalpana, Laxmi agent and Amol Valhekar and Deepak Singh, who allegedly bought the child.
The police said Sheetal, a resident of Nashik, was a mother for two children, besides a baby sold.
According to the police, because the financial condition of Sheetal was bad and her husband did not help him, Kalpana paid Rs 8,500 Bill from Heathers Heathins Expeses Pregnant.
It is Kalpana who suggests a sheetal to sell his pay so that all of his financial problems can be completed in one Go, the police said.
Kalpana was then suspected of taking a sheet and his son to Kalyan where he introduced him to Laxmi and Indu.
The duo promised a sheet that they would sell his son for Rs 2 Lakh.
They then sold a baby to Deepak, who was in Varanasi above but lived in Mumbai.
Shekhar Bagade, Senior Police Inspector Police Office Manada in Kalyan, said, “Brother Deepak died recently, and he, along with the child, had gone to his village in Varanasi.
However, he has promised us that he returned, He will surrender our child.
“Kunal Gangurde, investigative officer,” once we get custody of the child, we will send him to the child’s welfare center.
