Kolkata: Former Minister of Union and MP Asansol Babul Supriyo on Wednesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not suffer enough Bengalal, pushing a sharp response from BJP.
Speaking to reporters after reaching the New Delhah station from New Delhi, Babul said: “For seven to eight years, there were times when I felt that PM did not trust Bengalal enough.
Leave the fact that no Bengal has a place in the United Cabinet for the United States The last seven years, there was no minister (from Bengal) who even had an independent charge.
“Interestingly, Babul named SS Ahluwalia, MP Burdwan-Durgapur and former Union State Minister.
“Forget me.
Ahluwalia-ji is a veteran politician.
He went to BJP from Congress.
He also did not get independent accusations,” said Babul.
Responding to other questions, the Trinamool leader who has just joined said: “The main goal is to work for people.
And if I can do it under the leadership of Didi, it will be good.” The statement pulled a sharp response from Bengal BJP Vice President Arjun Singh, who Called Babul “Beiman” (Traitor).
Arjun said Babul had enjoyed a position in service for seven years and now accused Modi.
“It’s a pity that Babul said things like that now.
This is what Beyan does.
There is no Bhadralok who will say something like that,” he added.
Claiming a babule remembered the representation of Bengal in the Modi Cabinet only after losing his service, Arjun said: “People from the country know how the leaders join Mamata Banerjee will appear.
