Rajkot: In a strange incident, a four-month-old girl died a few minutes after being breastfed by her mother, who had consumed poison to end her life.
The incident occurred in the Amreli District Manekswada Village where Kajal Vaghela was 20 years old, consumed poison after fighting with her husband for visiting her parents’ house.
He rushed to a government hospital in Bagasara and his condition was stable.
On Friday, he breastfeeded his daughter Asmita, but the doctor suspected that the baby died of the impact of poison in the mother’s body.
