Kolkata: A 14-year-old girl – trafficked, tortured and forced to prostitution and sold to four different brothels in Rajasthan, Delhi, UP and Tripura – had passed Madhyamic with a sign of 70%.
In 2019, he joined the school in class IX two and a half months after his rescue in July by police from five states and members of NGOs.
He was kidnapped on May 23, 2019.
Experience at school after his return was initially not pleasant.
He was hunted at school and called “Baje Meye (bad girl)” and was forced to get out of an annual exam.
Then the Shakti Vahini NGO and Madhyamgram police stepped in and made sure he had no troubled further at the institution.
On Tuesday, he passed Madhyamik with around 70% of the value, one of the highest pockets by a victim of trading in recent memories.
But, he faced several challenges.
He did not have a school that could accommodate him with such a percentage considering the high cut-off at his school for science, his favorite flow.
But as a warrior, he wasn’t ready to give up.
“I have decided to study art.
I have got about 70% in English and Bengali.
I want to stand on my feet.
I want to be a school teacher and stand near my parents,” he told Ti on Thursday.
“I haven’t managed too much good value in class IX.
It takes time to get out of trauma and continue his studies.
I will be happier to appear in the test.
My class X internal sign is better than class IX,” said the girl.
Madhyamik cannot be held this year because the pandemic situation and evaluation are based on the performance of candidates in the 2019 examination in class IX and internal assessments for each subject in class X on a 50:50 base.
He was nominated by Shakti Vahini as one of the votes this year from trade victims.
“This year’s anti-trafficking theme this year on July 30 is the voice of the victims.
He is a perfect example,” said Rishikant from Shakti Vahini.
According to the police, the girl lost on the results of the results of Lok Sabha.
On June 18, his father received a call from him where he asked him to save him.
“So far, we have arrested three traders,” said an investigative officer.
