Back to school? Many parents in Telangana are still unsure

Hyderabad: With schools that will be reopened on September 1, many parents are still unsure about sending their wards back to school.
However, fear will lose further in academics and changes in social behavior tend to see the number of higher parents taking risks this time, compared to January when the government has opened a school for a short time.
In fact, when TOI run the poll earlier this year, 90% of extraordinary parents chose to oppose the physical class.
Only 10% said they were willing to do shifts.
In comparison, on Monday, even as 70% of parents choose the continuation of online classes, 30% say that they are ready to send their children to school, for various reasons.
“My daughter was introverted.
He used to speak only with a series of people limited in the previous class.
He increased quite a bit in class 6-7.
But from 8th grade he had attended online classes because it was difficult for him to get all social knowledge.
I believe he needs him.
More exposure and, therefore, I was ready to send him back to school, “Sai Prabhakar said.
In most cases, these are parents of students in higher classes who are willing to go with government steps.
While worries over children take pain – Covid-19, Dengue, Malaria – continue to haunt them, they are afraid of children may be left behind if they continue to learn from home.
“Not only covid-19, this is also a season for other diseases.
Meanwhile is a concern, my child is in grade 11 and he feels he will lose academics if he does not attend the physical class.
So, I think he will start going to school so reopened, “said Anu M.
However, decided not to send his daughter – in grade 8 – to school first.
In their part, school management says they expect numbers to increase then as many parents may receive the phone depend on how things open Potom 1.
“Nearly 50% of parents are willing to send their children back to school because of them do not find effective online education.
many told us that they would wait and watch before they made a decision.
We hope that in mid-September the percentage of parents who send their children back to school will increase, “said Sadula Madhusudan, Secretary General, Telangana acknowledged the School Management Association
