Bad Road: Panel Panel Case against KWA

Thiruvananthapuram: The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has submitted a case against the Kerala Air Authority (KWA) because it did not recover Uloor -kulam roads, Jalan Manjadi, Sree Chithira Thirunal Road and Pulayanarkotta-SN Nagar Road to previous countries.
It was one and a half years ago that the streets had been extracted for waste purposes.
CHRC Chairman of Justice Antony Dominic has asked the Managing Director of the Water Authority and the Secretary of the City of Thiruvananthapuram to check complaints and to submit detailed reports which also include solutions to this problem within four weeks.
This case will be considered only after receiving the report.
The streets turned out to be a trap of death by causing obstruction of ambulance movements and tankers to carry drinking water.
Waste work is initiated as part of the government’s amrut scheme.
Manholes similar to wells have been built in various parts of the road.
The work has been postponed due to negligence of water authority officials.
Also, many residents have moved to a rented house in the city because they feel impossible to use the road that has turned muddy.
It’s been a long time since the supply of drinking water was disrupted in the area.
Not even 25% of the waste work has been completed.
Also, the hole in the middle of the Uloor -kulam road creates congestion and shops cannot be opened due to dust.
The action began in the complaints submitted by former members of the City Council G S Sreekumar and locals Deepak C and Pradeep.
