Rajkot: A little battle over parking of a bicycle almost proved fatal to get a 55-year-old provision shop operator.
Fortunately, the man made, a former military man, was a bad marksman and the sufferer lived unhurt since the 2 rounds of shooting missed him Bhavnagar’s Adhewada village on Friday morning.
In accordance with Bharatnagar police channel, Chhagan Bhatt lodged a complaint from Lalji Dabhi under different sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) including attempt to murder along with segments of Arms Act.
Both complainant and accused are all inhabitants of Shiveshwar culture of Adhevada village at Bhavnagar city.
“The incident happened at about 11:30 am on Friday if Bhatt parked his bicycle in the frequent storyline of Shiveshwar society that’s close Dabhi’s home.
Dabhi advised Bhatt to not park his motorcycle near his house although the latter claimed since it’s a frequent plot and everyone can park their own vehicles .
“Dabhi got mad and together with his licensed revolver fired two rounds in Bhatt.
The complainant stated that the very first round was aimed in his knee and the next round .
Bhatt fortunately survived either rounds of fire and escaped unhurt,” a police officer said.
After the shooting members of this society hurried to the place and called in police.
“We have arrested the accused and reserved him for try to detain and Arms Act,” authorities said.
