Ludhiana: Shiroman Akali Dal (Sad) Sukhbir Singh Badal accused the Congress leaders on Sundays to misuse the MnGrega rural job security scheme funds in Punjab and said if the combined SAD-BSP was chosen to power the Polling Assembly of State 2022, it will order a probe into this problem.
“Congress leaders abuse MGNREGA funds with a tone of thousands of crores by spoil false bills and excessive for tiles, pavers, and other construction work,” Badal said when talking to meetings here.
He alleged that Congress leaders opened their own tile and paver factories and supplied sub-standard materials to be used in government work.

Badal said he also received complaints that the grain market in Punjab was closed prematurely when rice plants were still not harvested in all states.

Badal also highlights how the government is truly “unaware” for the spread of dengue fever in the state.
He said the number of cases of dengue fever had crossed a sign of 20,000 in Punjab but nothing was done to control the spread of transmitted diseases through vectors.
“The government behaves in the same way as done during the Covid-19 pandemic, which claimed the lives of more than 17,000 punjabis,” Badal said.
Slamming the AAM AAM AAM (AAP) party, he said the comfort and chairman of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal tried to “fool” Punjabis in the same way as the former Head of Punjab Amarinder Singh.
