Gopeshwar: Badrinath Portal was closed for winter on Saturday night, calling the curtain at Chardham Yatra this year.

More than 4,000 pilgrims were present at the temple on Saturday to witness the closing ceremony, he said.
A total of 1,97,056 pilgrims visited this year’s Badrinath Temple.
The closure of the Badrinath marked the end of the Chardham Yatra season because it was the last of the four Himalayan temples to close in Uttarakhand.
Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri were closed.
