Manipal: Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Education Council (MGNCRE) has recognized the Higher Education Manipal Academy (MAHE) as one of the exemplary players in the Swachha (SAP) action plan initiative.
Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh provided a certificate stating that Mahe was the Green District Champion this year.

The online workshop was organized by MGNCRE on Tuesday where the exchange of ideas between district institutions was carried out in the presentation of the certificate.

MGNCRE has done an online workshop on the field of sharing knowledge in the Swachhta aspect on campus, Jal Shakti Campus (Water Conservation on campus), and the Covid-19 Campus-19 sanitation plan.
In accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Education, MGNCRE wants to recognize the institution to contribute to the education and practice of Swachhhta and make a ‘One District One Green Champion’ award.
