Mumbai: Ahead of the upcoming Eid-Al Adha, also called Bakri Eid, the state government has issued guidelines that ask people to order online sacrifice or by telephone because all animal markets will be closed, adding that ‘Qurbani’ should be symbolic.
According to the guidelines distributed by the State House Department, there is a ban on all religious programs and people must offer “Namaz” in their homes and not in mosques and celebrations must be streamlined.
There will be no relaxation in restrictions for Eid al-Fitr as stated in the ‘chain break’ sequence by the state government, and people are directed not to gather in public places on the festival day.
