Nagpur: Maharashtra Bamboo Development Board (MBDB) RS39 Lakh has flowed.
The system driven by oxhydrogen, which is given to the corporation of the development of Maharashtra forest (FDCM) by MBDB, is collecting dust in Paoni.
Information received by Social Workers Manoj Waseke under the RTI Act revealed that the council bought one system driven by one oxytrogen for the treatment of bamboo for RS39.12 Lakh on November 11, 2018, and handed it to FDCM for operation.
The National Bamboo Mission (NBM) guidelines have a 100% grant provisions for the purchase of the government sector from the treatment of bamboo and seasoning factories under the head of the treatment and bamboo preservation promotion, but the maximum cost considered by NBM for one unit is RS20 Lakh.
Watere said, “It has been more than two and a half years since the Oksyhydrogen bamboo treatment plant is sent to FDCM by MBDB.
However, it has not been used once.

“The permission must be sought under the Forest Conservation Act (FCA), 1980, for this unit.

“This means that the machine was handed over two years ago and the land was identified to operate it now.
There is no commitment when the oxihidrogen plant will operate,” Goswami said.
GOSWAMI demanded that performance guarantees be collected from the wrong engine supplier and below the standard must be called.
He also demanded that new machines with proper specifications must be obtained by the risk and cost of suppliers and default officials related to procurement.
