Kolkata: Former Minister of Bengal Banerjee, who defected BJP ahead of the assembly poll, had a half-hour meeting with the Secretary General of the Trinamool Congress Abhishek Banerjee at the Camac road office last on Friday.
Trinamool does not react to development.
Rajib also cannot be contacted for comments.
The former minister has sent a taste to TMC after the opening of polling in Domjur and has published a statement that questioned BJP.
The meeting on Friday triggered new speculation on his ‘Ghar-wapsi’, but most would depend on if and how TMC was able to calm the party’s rankings and files that fought against bitter battles against Rajib and could refuse again.
