Bangladesh plans a quick trial in the case of temple violence

In an effort to cool communal tensions triggered by Violence Cumilla Temple which rocked Bangladesh during the recent Durga Puja celebration and caused a lot of heartache in India, the government said that he planned to accelerate prospective charges.
The Minister of Law Bangladesh has been quoted in the media report saying, “There are provisions in the court of fast trials to receive CCTV recordings as evidence.” Cases, he said, will be sent to court immediately after police investigation was concluded on October 21, Bangladesh police identified Hossain Resident Iqbal Cumilla as the culprit of incidents that triggered riots.
According to a report, Hossain was arrested by the authorities at the COX Bazar where he escaped.
While there are political protests in India, the Modi government has maintained the silence studied, overcoming faith to the government of Sheikh Hasina publicly.
PM Sheikh Hasina said at an event on Sunday, “certain quarters with personal interests to disseminate propaganda which aims to create shared divisions.” He, however, did not mention anyone.
“No matter how much good work we do, there are a quarter that is occupied by discrediting Bangladesthey want? They don’t want a normal democratic process to continue in this country,” he urged people to be aware of the efforts to disrupt the country.
Meanwhile, Hasina reached Modi to congratulate India to cross the 100 crore vaccine milestone.
In his letter, he said, Bangladesh also gave around 60 million vaccines.
Thanking India to continue the exports of vaccines to Bangladesh, he hopes this will remain uninterrupted.
India has stopped exports when the deadly second wave was hit in April-May this year.
