LONDON: Hundreds of Hindu Bangladesh joined Hindu Bengali from India in protests outside the British parliamentary houses on Wednesday demanding the British government to pressure Bangladesh to take action on recent anti-Hindu cruelty.
Protesters, men, women and children, traveled to London from Bradford, Birmingham, Manchester, Wales and Scotland.
Outside the home of Commons they shouted, “we stop killing Hindus” and “we want justice” and hold a plaque that says “stop ethnic cleansing in Bangladesh”.
“There are a large number of Hindu Bangladesh living in England and we want members of the British members to find out what is happening in Bangladesh.
We want the British foreign office to put pressure on the Bangladesh Government to take action,” explained Himanish Goswami, Ambassador of Youth, for Bangladesh Hindu Association (UK).
They marched in the Regent of Street, past Braus buyers, to the BBC headquarters where they demanded the anniversary of the anti-Hindu riots and questioned his silence, shouted “bias bbbc”, holding a plaque that said: “We demand BBC and world media investigate and report the cruelty Ongoing in Hindus in Bangladesh.
