Bangladeshi to lift the kuncian for the festival despite noting infection

Dhaka: Bangladesh will lift Lockown Coronavirus nationally for the second largest religious festival in the country, said the government Tuesday, even when new infections surged to record levels.
The cabinet said all restrictions would subside in the majority of Muslims 169 million people from Thursday in front of the Eid al-Adha festival which will be celebrated from July 20 to 22 this year.
The removal of the sidewalk will “normalize economic activities” ahead of the celebration, he added.
Dozens of millions of people usually return to their village to mark Eid al-Adha with their families.
Bangladesh enacted his most strict lock at the beginning of the month when the new Covid-19 case and death rose to the highest pandemic.
Under Kuncian, people are only allowed to leave home for emergencies and buy important items, with public transportation, shops and offices.
But infections continue to rise, with nearly 14,000 people testing positive on Monday – a new daily record – to take the total number of cases to more than one million.
Death tolls have increased above 16,600.
But experts say real numbers can be much higher amid worries of underreporting.
Mohammad Shahidullah, who heads the health committee that advises the government about how to manage a pandemic, say a group of experts to oppose the lumbary easing.
“The committee leads that this tight chef must be continued until there is a tendency for infection,” Shahidullah told AFP.
“In the middle of the class, there are trends of infection and increased death.
The level of infection is still very high.” “This might cause a disaster.
The Coronavirus situation is worrying,” the former regional advisor of the Southeast Asian World Organization Muzaherul Huq added.
There is also worries that crowding on the market to buy animals for massacres and big meetings during the festival can be a super-spreader event.
The announcement came when the authorities began the Covid-19 vaccination drive again, which almost stopped at the end of April after the import of a shot from India was suspended to meet local demand amid a surge in the virus.
The inoculation program that was revived began on a large scale on Tuesday with two million Sinopharm shots from China and 2.5 million modern doses of the United States through the Covax program.
Further six million modern doses and five million sinopharm punches are expected to arrive in August.
So far, 4.2 million people in Bangladesh have been fully vaccinated with two doses of astrazeneca vaccines purchased or donated from India.
1.6 million will then receive one shot.
