Bank Milk Mild Open at Daga Hospital

Nagpur: The first human milk bank at the Nagpur Hospital managed by the government was opened at the Daga Warning Warning Hospital on Saturday.
This hospital conducts more than 13,000 shipments every year and is being developed into a full mother-child care center.
Guardian Minister Nagpur District Nitin Raut dedicated this facility to patients in need on Saturday.
This will work as a gift for babies to lose the benefits of mother’s milk, he said.
“Many babies do not get mother’s milk called Elixir of Life.
Some children in the orphanage must grow in artificial milk formula milk.
This bank will help many children like that,” said Raut.
Dr.
Seema Parvekar, hospital medical supervisor, said that the baby formula is not suitable for the majority of children.
“Milk powder, or baby formula is just a compromise and can never be a supplement for mother’s milk.
We realize that Nagpur seriously needs a milk bank and takes this initiative during the ongoing Sunday breastfeeding,” he said.
Dr.
Madhuri Thorat told the reason why breast milk was not available to many children.
“Sometimes, mom fails to produce enough milk for their children.
Mothers who suffer from TB, jaundice, AIDS and other diseases cannot produce milk suitable for infants.
Those who undergo cancer treatment, sleeping pills, long-term use of tetracycline and drugs -Obatan cannot feed their children.
Bank human milk at Dagaga Hospital will provide food to many children like that, “he said.
When Daga Hospital has a large footstep of 700 to 800 expecting mothers per day and doing more than 13,000 shipments every year, they have enough donors for the bank.
The hospital also organizes events about nursing diets for nursing mothers to mark this week.
“Maximum nutritional requirements during lactation than at other age in a woman’s life.
Therefore, the diet must be chosen wisely and balanced,” said Dr.
Vinita Jain.
“Bank milk is needed for big cities such as Nagpur who emerged as the Central Indian medical center.
We have a large hospital and a large number of newborns, including premature babies, every day,” said Dr.
Sandhya Dange.
There are benefits that can be seen from breast milk for babies.
They have the risk of asthma, obesity, type 1 diabetes, lower respiratory disease, acute otitis media (ear infection), sudden infant death syndrome, gastrointestinal infection (diarrhea / vomiting) and necrotizing enterocolitis.
Mothers who donate milk also have benefits such as low risk breast cancer, ovarian cancer, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure etc.
