Bengaluru: HCL Technologies see spent higher in the modernization of retail banking in the US, and in technology and vertical telecommunications.
This helps the company report a constant currency growth of 11.7% in the first quarter, said CEO & MD C Vijayakumar.
“Banking clients in the US also spend in the field of risk and regular compliance.
Tech and Telecom spend on engineering platform and modernization,” he said in the interaction with TOI.
Financial, technology and telecommunications services contributed 22.1%, 17.3% and 7.9% respectively to the top in the first quarter ended June 30.
Three verticals grew at 8.8%, 14.9% and 17% compared to the same period last year.
Vijayakumar added that while R & D service techniques grew at 10.7%, some of them – flights, industrial and automatic techniques – re-see green shooting after being beaten by a pandemic last year.
Most digital offers are in various fields such as cloud migration, modernization of applications, analytics, large data and iot industries.
The quarter was soft in sequence – 0.7% growth in a constant currency – but Vijayakumar said most were expected.
