Letter: Barber lost the RS 3.5 Lakh in a fraud of a job executed by a man, who identified himself as an assistant district judge and even gave him a fake appointment letter.
Victims of Ajay Varhela, 22, who run a barber shop in the Matawadi area, filed a complaint with the Katargam police station which called Arvind alias Abhi Makwana.
Before starting his own shop, Vaghela worked at the salon in Katargam where Makwana was a regular customer.
About one and a half years ago, Vaghela heard Makwana talking to someone on the phone and convincing him about work in the Municipal Corporation letter.
When Vaghela told him that he had conducted a sanitation inspector course, Makwana offered him to help work at SMC as officers.
When Makwana said he had to pay higher at SMC for the job, Vaghela consulted with his family who refuted him permission.
Vaghela then started holes themselves.
After the Festival Diwali last year, Makwana called him and offered him a job that said SMC recruited people.
Vaghela was captivated and gave Rs 1.50 lakh to Makwana’s wife as the first installment.
After this, he gave Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 50,000 to get a job.
Makwana gave him an appointment letter and asked him to join February 21, 2021.
On February 14, when Vaghela called Makwana, the last telephone was constantly turned off.
