Panaji / Bicholim: Bardez and Bicholim Taluka’s part face the shortcomings of acute water after the supply of Tillari’s reservoir to Goa must be interrupted from last week, because of violations at Tillari Canal.
Most of Bardez and Sal Beach belts and Latambacem in Bicholim are left depending on the supply of tankers.
Meanwhile, the work of repairing violations in the Tillari Canal in Manseri in Dodaamarg, Maharashtra, has just begun.
Violations in the canal have drastically reduced water supplied to the ASSONORA water treatment plant.
Officials said that it would take at least three days for repair work finished.
Even after repairs are made, it takes time for the water supply network to normalize and for supply to be restored, including to the tip of the tail.
Assonora treatment factory only depends on raw water from the current Amthane reservoir, and water to the dam pumped from the river.
This has prevented the entire Bardez Taluka go without inventory so far, as desired at first.
Most parts are provided by supply on Thursday and Friday, although to minus hours.
But the ends of the Calangute, Anjuna, Nerul was very affected.
“It’s been six months, we get an irregular water supply in Anjuna.
There are a few days when we left tears because of this suffering.
For days, we have fully dependent on the supply of water tankers.
