Ahmedabad: On Saturday the ghost bar, also called ‘Ghuvad’ in Gujarati, rescued from the housing community at the Merera.
The bird was entangled in the nylon kite thread made in China and was injured in one of his wings and near the beak.
“We have handed over birds that are injured to the rescue center of the forest department for treatment,” said the animal rescue of the city, Vijay Dabhi, who saved the bird.
He said that the group of his friends who lived in various Pol in the walled city had collected kite bonds from many places.
“If all the people of the people began to release the string of kites after Uttrarayan, the bird would not continue to be injured,” Dabhi said.
