Barodian received the upper US immigrant award

Vadodara: Forty-three years ago, he shifted to the US to make careers in space.
When America celebrated his independence day on July 4th, the excitement of Dr.
Kamlesh Lulla did not know the limit because he was given one of the prestigious awards in the country.
Lulla, a Barodian, won the ‘Great Immigrant, American’ award given by the Carnegie Foundation – a non-profit organization in the US.
“I’m really happy and humble by the award.
The award was given to make a significant contribution to the state and in the field of space.
I was very honored because I had dedicated my life to NASA.
This is the most prestigious award that can be obtained by immigrants,” said Lulla 72 years to Ti from the US.
Born and raised in Vadodara, Lulla finished post-graduation at the University of MS Science Faculty.
He also pursued a PhD in ecology and the environment at MSU before international friendship arrived.
Lulla shifted to the US in 1978 and was supported by Indiana State University.
“I started working on the remote sensor room application and completed my second PhD in the room and remote sensing from Indiana State University.
I am also a professor assistant and teach for almost 12 years.
I joined NASA in 1988 in the center of human life and had been Working with the organization since then, “Lulla, who was associated with NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas, told Toi.
Dr.
Lulla was a major scientist for earth observation and remote sensing in the NASA space shuttle program and he had become a recipient of three extraordinary achievements of NASA.
He has trained astronauts and helped develop the ability of observational science international space station as well.
In 2015, Lulla received a privative Bhartiya award from the Indian government.
Septuagenarian is all praise for Indian space programs.
“India has made extraordinary progress in space programs.
The US is ‘Karmabhoomi’ and India is my JanMabhoomi.
I have been invited to India for college many times and I will continue to contribute to my JanMabhoomi,” added Lulla.
Lulla Marianne’s wife is a trained psychologist while Dr Andrew’s son is a MD and Princess Tara surgeon has done a PhD in criminal justice.
“I now want to travel throughout the world and work with a bright young mind.
But my heart is in Vadodara and I miss the city.
I am a proud Barodian,” Lulla said.
