Hubballi / Karwar: The day after taking over as cm, Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday toured a quail girl if the North Karnataka district visited Hometown Hubballi and Palces affected by flooding in Uttara Kannada.

Then, Bommai began a tour at Taluks of Uttara Kannada, including Karwar, Ankola and Yellapur, who had witnessed rain for the past few days.
At Yellapur, Bommai first visited Talakebail Village, where there was a heavy landslide on the SH-6.
About 500 people gathered in the village to broadcast their problems.
Overcoming them, Bommai said the government knew their problems, and villagers in Kakache, who had witnessed the collapse of a large-scale house.

He also visited the Arangail in Yellapur where there was a landslide at the NH-63 and Gullapur Village where a bridge was swept away on the Gangavali River.
DC Mullai Mugilan gave CM about damage caused by landslides and floods.
Bommai, accompanied by former Minister of Shivaram Hebbar and other legislators, visited Ankola Taluk where people who lived on the banks of the Gangavali river had borne the burning of floods.
After inspection, Bommai said the West Ghat region witnessed heavy rain.
“Landslides have often occurred and everyone who loses houses will be compensated,” he said.
Bommai is expected to announce assistance after a review meeting with high-ranking officials in Bengaluru.
