Based on the death of the custodian of the defendant in the case of beef ferries

Vadodara: The big line erupted after the death of the custodian of a man accused of teaching beef in Godhra.
While the police claimed that the man took his own life, family members and MLAS Congress had sought a thorough investigation into this problem.
Defendant Kasim Hayat was arrested after the forensic test revealed that the meat he ferry on his scooter on Tuesday was beef.
Hayat is taken in police custody along with other people.
On Wednesday night, Hayat hanged himself to death in the Godhra B division police station.
Senior officers rushed to the police station after the incident.
Hayat’s body was sent to the SSG hospital in Vadodara for Post Mortem by the Doctor Panel.
While the police stated that Hayat ended his life, three MLA from Congress – Gyasuddin Sheikh, Javed Pirzada and Imran Khedawala – have been looking for a thorough investigation and said that relatives claimed police torture killed their relatives.
In a letter to the Director General of State Police, MLAS said that the family had claimed that they had met the deceased and he had revealed that he was beaten by the police.
They demanded that if the police were found responsible for the incident, actions must be made to those involved.
