Beirut: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said on Saturday, the main obstacle of investment in the country was the money trapped in Lebanese banks who were sick.
He said some estimates suggested $ 40 billion or $ 60 billion in Syrian funds trapped in Lebanon.
In a speech after being sworn in during the fourth, Assad also said Syria would continue to work to overcome the difficulties caused by Western sanctions charged during the long war.
