Hyderabad: When the Bathucamma celebration starts from Wednesday, MLC and Telangana Jagrutri Founder Kalvakuntla Kavitha and film director Gautham Vasudev Menon launched the Bathukamma song produced by Telangana Jagruthi in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Songshot in the Telangana District was released before the first day of Bathukamma which began on October 6.
The Bathukamma song was compiled by Music Director of Ar Rahman, sung by Uthara Unnikrishnan, written by Mittapalli Surender, and choreography by the Brinda National Award winner.
Bathukamma Festival is an integral part of Telangana and identifies with the identity of people’s culture from countries around the world.
Former MP Kavitha LED Telangana Jagruthi played an important role in cultural integration and to strengthen the root of the Telangana movement.
Since then Telangana Jagruthi has become an active force that represents the cultural and literary landscape of the country not only in India but also internationally.
Collaboration recently with the Director of Gautam Vasudev Menon, Music Composer A R Rahman, Kavitha has added a festive atmosphere of Telangana and has given Telangana women, another reason to enjoy a colorful and happy bath festival.
