Nagpur: Chandrashekhar Bawankule, BJP MLC from Nagpur, on Wednesday demanded that the government assess plant damage caused by perionistic rain and hail in East Vidarbha and announce compensation for farmers.
During the last three days, moderate rain until heavy and hail in several places was witnessed in the region.
Bawankule said, “Plants such as tours and cotton have been damaged in many areas.
Fruit plantations including orange and sweet gardens have also taken ice loads.
An estimated 50,000 hectares of plant plants have been damaged, which clearly means a great financial loss for farmers.” He targets ministers The main Uddhav Thackeray on charges of “not proactive enough.” Bawankule said, “People in the government are busy doing politics and do not have time for citizens.
If Thackeray is sensitive to the cause of farmers, then he must immediately ask all guardian ministers to assess plant damage and limestone plans.” Some selected representatives have begun to take Initiatives to assess plant damage in their constituencies.
Ramtek Mla Ashish Jaiswal visited agriculture at the Tehsil Parseoni on Wednesday to assess losses.
In a public statement issued by Jaiswal, he stated that around 400-500 hectares seemed to have been influenced by Hailstorm.
MLA has also issued orders to officials to start compiling data on plant losses.
In addition to targeting the government about the problem of plants damage, Bawankule also shiny members of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) for trying to ‘slander’ BJP’s image.
“They continue to say that we did not do enough for the OBC community.
It was a blatant lie, because actually BJP who always did everything for OBC.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also belongs to the OBC community and there are more public representatives and ministers from the community,” he said.
