Patna: The Interior Ministry has released 25 companies from Central Armed Police forces (CAPF) to be placed by the maintenance to two assembly seats – Kusheshwar Asthan in Darbhanga and Tarapur in Munger.
However, total allocation might not be enough to cover all the booths in two assembly chairs.
Special Armed Police Personnel Bihar (BSAP) may be deployed in the peaceful region of two constituencies.
Of the 25 companies, 10 is intended to be used in Kusheshwar Astan and 15 in Tarapur.
DGP Sanjeev Kumar Singhal said at least 10% of the polling booth may not be borne by CAPF personnel who saw the number of companies allocated by the center.
“All these rooms will be secured by BSAP and other police personnel,” he added.
The span of the Munger explores the PANKAJ Sinha said that all rooms in the area affected by Maois in the district will see the deployment of the Mandatory Personnel of CAPF.
“Some booths in the peaceful area of the Tarapur assembly chair will be borne by BSAP personnel,” he added.
Darbhanga Range Ig Ajitabh Kumar said three CAPF companies reached Kusheshwar Astan about a week back and the rest of the company would soon arrive.
