Rajkot: Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajkot City Police arrested a man, with a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) degree, to run pathological laboratories without required qualifications or licenses.
According to SOG officials, they carried out attacks in the ‘Spiritary Laboratory’ on Jalan Jangleshwar-Devpara in Rajkot on Wednesday night and seized medical equipment, test equipment and syringes.
They also arrested the laboratory owner, Irshad Nakani (23).
“The primary probe shows that Nakani holds a bachelor’s degree in computer applications (BCA) and previously worked with city-based pathology laboratories.
He began this laboratory six months ago and was carrying out various types of blood tests.
Doctors also also referred their patients to the laboratory for the laboratory for Blood tests that think that Nakani has the necessary licenses and qualifications.
“We have ordered it under various parts of the Indian criminal code and part of the medical practitioner law,” said an official SOG.
