BCAS ordered a full body scanner on March 2022

New Delhi: The government has provided a boost for the installation of the entire body scanner at the airport here, after Covid significantly delayed the process.
The Civil Aviation Security Bureau (BCAS) on Tuesday (Nov.
16) ordered all airport hypersensitivity and sensitive to replace the door frame metal detector (DFMD) with the scanner on March 2022.
And other airports need to replace DFMDS with the “latest scanner by scanners” next December.
BCA has directed all airports to have at least a DFMD set for people’s screening with medical conditions, commands.
Whether the Covid-destroyed airport operator can meet this time line still has to be seen as the scanner fee above RS 3 Crore.
Comments are searched from the airport operator on this problem and wait until the press will be.
A list of sensitive airports includes those in Jammu, Kashmir, Delhi, Mumbai, and northeast.
Some airports have successfully conducted trials for this technology at pre-covid time.
BCAS in April 2019 directed that 84 hypersensitive and sensitive airports must get the whole body scanner on March 2020 at the DFMDS place.
Other airports should get the scanner on March 202.
The Indian Airport Authority (AAA) in 2019 issued a tender to buy 198 body scanners.
But the whole process has been initially delayed by Covid, among others.
“Airport operators have quoted a bad financial health.
Also, Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) supports the use of a combination of handheld metal detectors and body scanners for fricking which is very easy for passengers randomly.
The majority of passengers will run through the scan while some will be played according to the method At present, “said the official.
Incidentally, the CISF saw the demand for the installation of the entire body scanner at the airport by several representatives of people with disabilities at the Mega conference recently held.
The body scanner will allow removing the current process of doing passenger pat-down after the main filtering process through a metal detector to take a walk.
The body scanner will allow “clean” passengers to walk and appear will only be done for others.
Specifications for scanners are used in Indian factors in the need to penetrate unique clothing layers for countries – such as Chunnat (front folds) from Sari, Lungi and Pallus.
“There are some very small problems with the scanner when this problem last discussed some time ago.
Hopefully, there will be better and safer technology for them,” said the official.
