NEW DELHI: The BCCI on Sunday announced It Will Contribute Rs 10 crore to Encourage the Olympic-bound Indian Determined by the Petition of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and the Sports Ministry.

A conclusion in this regard was taken at the Board’s emerging Apex Council meeting, attended with the BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah.
“The BCCI has chosen to encourage Indian athletes in each shape and way it could.
In that spirit, depending on the petition received from the IOA/MYAS, the Apex Council of BCCI has decided to expand service to the Indian Olympic Association and has vowed a financial gesture of Rs.
10 crores,” that the BCCI said in an announcement.
