NEW DELHI: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has included a’high-level pro committee’ to determine the process of evaluation and evaluation to LL.B pupils in view of continuing Covid-19 pandemic.
The apex pub body stated the committee was made in opinion of requests from many students from throughout the nation, including 273 in the Faculty of Law, Delhi University (DU).
The BCI, that is also the regulator of legal education in the nation, said it’s worked to constitute an 12-member specialist committee to be chaired by Justice Govind Mathur, former Chief Justice, Allahabad High Court.
“The pupils of many centers of legal instruction involving 273 pupils of Faculty of Law, DU had delivered mails, together with the petition that the LLB intermediate term examination/evaluation and marketing ought to be held according to UGC Guideline via a composite plot i.e.

The representation had been supported by the pupils of Symbiosis Law SchoolBCI chairperson Manan Kumar Mishra reported an email was sent by Prof Vandana, Dean, Faculty of Law, DU to Bar Council of India on May 27, notifying that varsity has declared examination for under graduates as well as other flows, which will start from June 7.

The BCI added which it had determined not to issue some principle with respect to holding of exam for intermediate term or last semester students of legislation as it has last previous year guidelines had been contested before the judges and a few universities needed to depart from the rules and embrace their very own protocol for holding that the assessment.
