Varanasi: Just before the New Year’s activist, Activist Bajrang Dal (BD) attached posters on the walls of the mall and hotels in the city, warned people “not to promote Western culture in Kashi”.

Through posters, BD calls the promotion of Western culture “immoral and anti-religious”.
It warns that BD will be very opposed to such celebrations and events in the city.
BD Convener Nikhil Tripathi ‘Rudra’ said, “The celebration of the new year is an meaningless event.
It has no morality and has nothing to do with spirituality.
Such an event brings the country youth on the wrong path.” He accused that the liquor mafia and drug mafia Trying to take advantage of the situation with the pretext of celebration.
He said, “Because there will be a celebration in many places in the city, we will protest peacefully and within the legal boundaries after the police government permit.” BD also demands a ban on sales of liquor at the bar, pub, hotel and club during the new year of Bash.
Police Commissioner Satish Ganesh said, “No one will be allowed to take the law in their hands”.
“If something goes wrong, the police will take action.
