Bda corruption: no questions to protect anyone, said cm

Bengaluru: Head of the Karnataka Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday said there was no question to protect anyone in connection with alleged corruption in the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA), and it needs to be cleaned for once.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), on Friday it has stormed the BDA office here and claimed to have explored irregularities and corruption by officials during the acquisition and land rations in the housing layout.
“We have said that our government will not allow all types of corruption, now ACB has also invaded, what cases they will use and reports they will convey, as well as what permits they will find from us (government) or recommend to us, We will accept or leave it without hesitation, “said Bommai in response to questions about alleged corruption in BDA.
Speaking to reporters here, he said there was no question to protect anyone in any way.
“I have received complaints from the public in BDA, also Sr.
Vishwanath (MLA and Chairman of BDA) has brought some insistence on my notification, I have asked officials worried about the urban development authorities to ask, now have come to ACB notice too, and they have been Abside and truth will come out, “CM said.
“Anyone who is guilty, however they are, old or new, the action will be taken against them.” BDA must be cleaned for once and it must be simplified, he continued, adding that “there was a complaint that BDA had not provided services to be, to ordinary people, so we committed to cleaning it to clean it once.” ACB said they found burdensome documents showing corruption and irregularities in BDA.
