Bengaluru: The Chairman of the Minister of Basavaraj Bommai defended the attack on the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), which suggested rampant corruption and institutions need to be cleaned.
More than three days, ACB has carried out an attack on the BDA office and claimed to have explored several shady land offers in addition to misuse of compensation funds for those who lose land.
“For the sake of shipping services to ordinary people, BDA requires cleaning,” said Bommai told reporters.
When asked about the possibility of influential people involved in alleged corruption, Bommai said the government would not tolerate corruption in any form.
He said he was waiting for a report from ACB who would reveal the truth.
“There are no questions to protect anyone who is found guilty,” he said.
“We will take action against them, whoever they might or how influential,” he said.
Bommai said Sr.
Vishwanath, Chairman of BDA, has caught his attention on corruption in the agency and he has asked the urban development department to investigate complaints raised by people.
