Collected by Guha, 71, who served during the Bangladesh War in 1971, was cheated by more than RS4.19 lakh by two fraudsters who claimed to be a spiritual physician in 2018 and 2019.
Dr.
Guha had not regained money.
The arrest was made in the case last week, after two years of follow-up.
Dr.
Guha, a senior under the officer at the Medical NCC, has volunteered his services in the medical unit to help soldiers and civilians at the Indo-Bangladesh border during the last year of MBBS.
He spent a month serving army personnel and civilians in various places along the border until Pakistan’s troops were defeated.
The doctor, who fought two Pakistani soldiers with empty hands instead of revealing the location of the Indian army during the war, had run the pillar to be subject to justice now.
Doctors have called astrological services that promise to correct complaints in life.
“Someone who identified himself as Madhukar Guruji and his assistant began to communicate with me.
They convinced to help me get out of my trouble spiritually, and I trusted them,” he said.
Dr.
Gamha said fraudsters began demanding money on some or other pretth to do puja.
“They are used to provide different bank account numbers to deposit the amount to buy valuables and valuables for puja, travel and so on.
I continued paying, trusting their words when they sound convincing,” he said.
Dr.
Ghay said he was even more convinced when the fraudsters said the last puja and other rituals would be made at his home.
“I have deposited more money for their trip to the city, buying more puja materials and other different things.
Then, their cellphones are turned off,” said Dr.
Guha, who approached the police after realizing he was cheated.
After many follow-up and hard work by the gynecologist that the police consciously managed to screw his cheater, Avinash Singh and Parmar Singh, two years after complaints, with the help of cyber cells from West Bengal and Bihar.
After being arrested on October 26, Avinash and Nitish were sent to the Nagpur Center Prison on Saturday.
Even though the perpetrators were finally behind the bar, the Septuagenarian doctor hoped to see at least some of his money was taken.
Even though the police claimed the deceased number was RS4.19 Lakh, Dr.
Gamha said it was closer to RS10 Lakh.
Dr.
Gamha said he was supported by the Assistant Pi Keshav Wagh Cyber cells and then by former BK City Police Chief Upadhyay.
“Unfortunately, Covid put brakes on investigations for a year before I was happy to be informed by Wagh that two were accused accused,” he said.
Assistant Pi Mohan Dere from the conscious police station, who worked under the Senior Inspector of Vinod Choudhury and Zonal DCP Vinita S, said the defendant was accused of using their address in the banks where the amount was stored.
“We have freezed their accounts, but cash can’t be recovered,” Dere said.
