The government must take stock of medical liquid oxygen (MLO) available at private and government hospitals and maintain stock buffers.
All settings must be made to supply MLOs that are not disconnected to patients received in the ICU and HDU (high dependency units), he said.
The Technical Advisory Committee has recommended to increase Covid-19 testing and therefore tele-trialging that involves screening patients remotely to determine the patient’s condition and the maintenance needed, seluler-triary, trace the main contact and isolate them also in the house or CCC quarantine must be given Priority, he said.
