Noida / Ghaziabad: Some private vaccination centers in Noida and Ghaziabad saw footsteps that increased over the weekend as a lack of doses stopped inoculation at government facilities.
The hospital said more people came in the first week of July than the last week of June.
“We do an average of around 100 doses every day.
However, in the past few days, we have vaccinated 100-150 people every day.
More people now want to be vaccinated earliest but want to avoid crowded centers,” said Dr.
Dinesh Sharma, Director of the Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida.
Apart from government facilities, three private centers in Noida who have invested the maximum number of people are Kailash, Felix Hospital and Max Superspeciality Center.
The three centers have reported an increase in the number of recipients since the beginning of the month.
“The crowd on our drive-through 24×7 site is very high when it has started but continues to reduce during June.
However, it began to increase in the past week and we saw a large number of weekends.
This could be because more people were free during the weekend, but Government centers did not operate, “said Dr.
DK Gupta from Felix Hospital.
He added that 9,000 people were vaccinated in the middle during the last week of June while similar numbers had taken a shot in the first four days in July itself.
Another personal center that vaccinated people in Noida and Vaishali in Ghaziabad repeated that footsteps on the sites had dropped during the second half of June but had increased consistently since 1.
July said the number of inoculation was around 600 every day but had dropped to around 150 lately.
It returned to 600 again in the last three days.
In the center of Vaishali, footsteps also increase by around 1,200 a day now.
The first Sputnik Center Yashoda Hospital in Kaushambi announced the launch of Sputnik Vacine V.
This is the first center to manage vaccines at Uttar Pradesh.
Shubhang Arora, executive director, said they provided vaccines at the level set by the center – Rs 1,145 per dose.
This requires pre-registration on the co-win portal.
Private hospitals in Delhi-NCR have begun managing the Russian vaccine from June 30 as part of the pilot.
“Registration of places and walk-in facilities for Sputnik V are currently limited.
We encourage the recipient to register and make an appointment through the co-win application.
Every day, 100 slots are opened and they are filled in 8 minutes.
We get a very good response , “said Yashoda Hospital spokesman.
