Nagpur: More than a week ago, three people from Yavatmal who have submitted a case against Swiss MNC Giant Syngenta International Pesticides in their home countries have submitted all related documents in court.

However, Pan-India did not reveal the names of the applicants, quoting security reasons.

In 2017, as many as 80 people, especially farm workers, had died of an unintentional inhalation of pesticides while spraying in the fields.
Most deaths occur in the Yavatmal District.
